Commitment
Grupo Yanapai seeks to contribute to the improvement of the quality of life of high Andean families through research and development of projects taking into account the following forms of intervention:
Method of work
- Conduct on-site investigations.
- Direct and joint work with the communities.
- Recognition of the problems and strengths of farming families.
- Production of knowledge and ecological innovations appropriate to the situation and context.
- Strengthening of farmers’ capacities.
Institutional strategic objectives
- Promote the cultural, educational and productive development of peasant families, with greater emphasis on women and children.
- Implement action research on agricultural and communication problems identified by small farmers.
- Support the training, in the field, of technical personnel for the education, organization and productive technical improvement of rural women.
